Darts is a game where players throw small, pointed objects (also called "darts") at a round board on the wall, trying to hit certain numbers to score points. It's a very popular pub game in the UK. The singular "dart" is the small pointed object itself, and can also describe a sudden, quick movement, like "a dart of pain" or "she made a dart for the door."
