    「curved」講的是「平滑的一段彎」，可以想成從一個圓上剪下來的一段線，所以是順順的弧，不會有折角。它通常用在「天生長成這樣」或「被做成這樣」的東西：鳥的嘴、動物的角、屋頂、牆、椅背。中文一個「彎」在英文會分成好幾個字，這裡最容易搞混的是三個：curved 是平滑的弧（a curved wall），bent 是本來直的東西被弄彎了（a bent nail），crooked 是在某一兩個地方突然折彎、看起來歪歪的（crooked teeth）。

Think of it as the finished state of bending: not a line that is bending, but a thing that already holds the shape of a curve — one long, smooth lean away from straight, with no corner in it.
