Picture what a thing is made up of, at the level you cannot change on a . English uses one noun, constitution, for two versions of that: the set of rules a country is put together by, and the body a person was built with. This adjective follows the noun into both rooms — which is why the same word can describe a court case about presidential powers and a remark about someone's health.
