    classroom 可以想成兩個字疊起來：class（課）＋ room（房間），就是「上課的那間房間」。中文的「教室」剛好也是這樣組起來的（教＋室），所以意思很好記。它指的是那個空間本身——有門、有桌椅、有黑板，可以走進去、可以打掃、可以說它在幾樓。要小心的是：那一堂課、那一班學生，英文都叫 class；in class 是「正在上課」，in the classroom 是「人在那間房間裡」。
