Cheapo is an informal, slightly word for something that does not cost much and is not of good quality. A cheapo phone, a cheapo hotel, a cheapo pair of headphones: you expect it to feel thin, to break, or to be rough. Though actually, cheapo is harsher than cheap. Cheap can still be a good deal — a cheap ticket may be perfectly fine. Cheapo almost always the nose: 'this was made to be sold cheap, not to last'. It is casual speech, not essay English. People also use cheapo as a noun for a stingy person ('don't be a cheapo'), but the main use is this cheap-and-nasty adjective.
