a way of sending radio signals that uses a wide range of frequencies, so that several messages can travel at the same time.
寬頻（無線電）
You can think of it as a very wide road for signals: instead of one narrow lane, the road covers a broad band of frequencies, so many things can travel side by side at the same time — and that width is what makes it fast.
一條「很寬的訊號道路」。broad（寬）+ band（頻帶）——訊號不是擠在一條窄窄的車道上一個一個排隊過，而是攤開在一整段寬闊的頻率範圍上，很多訊息可以並排同時跑。想像一條十六線道的高速公路：路面越寬，同一時間能通過的車就越多，整體感覺當然就越快。這個「寬」不是形容速度本身，而是形容那條通道的寬度；快，是寬度帶來的結果。
