Picture a small black-and-yellow insect flying in and out of flowers, never still: it takes nectar from the flowers, turns it into honey, and stings if it feels threatened. Almost everything else the word does hangs on that picture — the constant busyness, the buzzing you can't ignore, the crowd of them working together.
