    Accentuation is the noun: the act, or the result, of making something stand out. In language and in music it is the extra weight on a syllable or a beat — the accentuation of the first part of TA-ble, or of the first beat in a dance. In everyday writing it can also mean the way a line, a colour, or a problem is made more obvious. Though actually, a lot of people just say emphasis and keep this longer word for sound, rhythm, or a slightly more formal tone. It is not a verb. You do not “accentuation” something; that job belongs to accentuate.
